Citizens who have a passport from the list of friendly countries may apply for permanent and immediate residence in Panama.

This legislation, based on Executive Decree 416 of 2012, allows this benefit to nationals of fifty countries who have the passport of one of these countries, a bank account with at least five thousand dollars in Panama and a corporation.
